Ram Shetty is a passionate and pragmatic UX Head, UX Researcher, and Executive Manager with over 17 years of experience in the design industry. He has a proven track record of enabling and leading UX teams for several companies, including Hexagon, IBM, Zensar Technologies, and Satyam Computers. His expertise lies in transforming UX into a self-sustained UX team with mature UX practice that delivers value driven by core business metrics. As a Design Leader, Ram has been a front runner for the team, instrumental in establishing, driving, and articulating a UX vision to the responsible for the team's career growth. He insists that the team move from their comfort zone by delegating them specific challenging goals by time to time. He strongly believes in UX process and Agile. Ram has completed Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) & Professional Scrum User Experience courses from Scrum.org. He is articulate, affable, and a team player with a good sense of humor. He successfully collaborates with cross-functional teams to get work done. Currently, Ram is the Head of UX HCCI at Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence. He has previously served as an Associate Executive Manager and Senior Manager User Experience at the same company. In this role, he was responsible for establishing UX strategy, leading the team, and taking care of multiple UX assignments and streamlining the UX process. He has also provided research and Ixd deliverables, worked with scrum teams to provide interaction design deliverables, managed teams both as a lead and functional manager, and assisted team members in developing interaction patterns and standards. Ram has a degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and is pursuing an MSc in Psychology from Sri Venkateswara University. He also holds a Certified Usability Analyst degree from Human Factors International and a BS in Science from Osmania University. Ram's tech stack includes Research Scientist, Designer, and Test.
